You must undergo a rigorous evaluation of your building’s carbon emissions.

REPORT

You are required to submit a comprehensive emissions report to the DOB by January 2024.

COMPLY


If your building emits carbon levels which are higher than the city’s accepted levels, you’ll be subject to annual penalties of $10,000.00 to $700,000.00+. And if you fail to report, you’ll be fined $0.50/sqft. per month. Submitting a false report is a misdemeanor punishable with jail time and fines of up to $50,000.
